§ 11.01. DIVISION INTO WARDS.

The City is hereby divided into four wards as hereinafter designated.

(A) First Ward. All that part of the City lying within an area encompassed by a line described as follows: Commencing at a point where 23rd Street intersects the east corporate limits of the City, thence west along the center line of 23rd Street to its intersection with 18th Avenue, thence south along the center line of 18th Avenue to its intersection with 17th Street, thence west along the center line of 17th Street to its intersection with 21st Avenue, thence south along the center line of 21st Avenue to the south corporate limits of the City, shall constitute and be known as the First Ward.

(B) Second Ward. All that part of the City lying within an area encompassed by a line described as follows: Commencing at a point where Howard Boulevard (US81) intersects the west corporate limits of the City, thence southeast along the center line of Howard Boulevard (US81) to its intersection with 48th Avenue, thence north along the center line of 48th Avenue to its intersection with 27th Street, thence east along the center line of 27th Street to its intersection with 45th Avenue, thence south along the center line of 45th Avenue to its intersection with 23rd Street, thence east along the center line of 23rd Street to its intersection with 33rd Avenue, thence south along the center line of 33rd Avenue to its intersection with 15th Street, thence east along the center line of 15th Street to its intersection with 21st Avenue, thence south along the center line of 21st Avenue to the south corporate limits of the City, shall constitute and be known as the Second Ward.

(C) Third Ward. All that part of the City lying within an area encompassed by a line described as follows: Commencing at a point where Howard Boulevard (US81) intersects the west corporate limits of the City, thence east and south along the center line of Howard Boulevard (US81) to its intersection with 48th Avenue, thence north along the center line of 48th Avenue to its intersection with 27th Street, thence east along the center line of 27th Street to its intersection with 45th Avenue, thence south along the center line of 45th Avenue to its intersection with 23rd Street, thence east along the center line of 23rd Street to its intersection with 26th Avenue, thence north along the center line of 26th Avenue to its intersection with the north corporate limits of the City, shall constitute and be known as the Third Ward.

(D) Fourth Ward. All that part of the City lying within an area encompassed by a line described as follows: Commencing at a point where 23rd Street intersects the east corporate limits of the City, thence west along the center line of 23rd Street to its intersection with 18th Avenue, thence south along the center line of 18th Avenue to its intersection with 17th Street, thence west along the center line of 17th Street to its intersection with 21st Avenue, thence south along the center line of 21st Avenue to its intersection with 15th Street, thence west along the center line of 15th Street to its intersection with 33rd Avenue, thence north along the center line of 33rd Avenue to its intersection with 23rd Street, thence east along the center line of 23rd Street to its intersection with 26th Avenue, thence north along the center line of 26th Avenue to its intersection with the north corporate limits of the City, shall constitute and be known as the Fourth Ward.
