§ 114.10. NOTICE ALONG MOVING ROUTE.

- (A) Prior to the actual move of a building, the applicant for such moving permit shall provide notice of the move by publication in a daily newspaper having a general circulation in the city in a form as provided for in the permit application. The notice shall be published at least seven days before the scheduled move and shall contain the designated moving route and include notification that electrical power to the businesses or residences along the moving route may be affected by the move. The notice shall contain the name, address and telephone number of the following: the building owner, the building mover, and the utility companies. The notice shall also set forth the date of the move, an alternate date for such move, and a time frame within which the move is to take place.(B) The applicant shall be responsible for filing an affidavit of publication provided by the Columbus Telegram with the City Clerk. The affidavit shall be filed before the move commences and shall verify that the notice requirement of this section has been complied with.(Ord. 01-28, passed 5-7-01; Am.
