§ 150.029. REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE.

(A) Electrical contractors. No person shall be engaged in the business of installing, altering, or repairing any electrical wiring, fixtures or apparatus within the corporate limits or the two-mile jurisdiction of the City of Columbus without first obtaining registration from the Community Development Department.
(B) No person shall be engaged in the installation of any electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment or devices for any purpose whatsoever within the corporate limits or within the two-mile jurisdiction without first obtain registration from the Community Development Department.
(C) The requisite certificate of insurance referred to in this section shall be filed with the Community Development Department and approved by the City Attorney.
