§ 34.38. MISTREATMENT OF, INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE DOG.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully or maliciously torture, torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable or kill any dog used by the Police Department of the City in the performance of the functions or duties of the Department or to interfere with or meddle with any such Police dog while being used by the Department or any officer or member thereof in the performance of any of the duties or functions of the Department or of the officer or member. Any person violating any provision of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
